"If that’s the case then why do we have a law for child labour..in that case too parents and children are fine but it is punishable under Indian law.."

I definetly feel child would have a problem If he is provided the taste of good education he will never go work.....Then child right commission should act.....Indian child right law is too complicated so I feel it is waste to comment on that.....more number of rules will result more complications...

"It was not a sewage tank..it was chocolate and children love chocolates "

What ever it may be ....but making them work for 6months to 1 years is justified according to your logic?....

"According to me….If the parents/children have no problem in going for campaign then child right commission should not have any say on the issue"...

"campaigning under sun is far better than jumping into a sewage tank and run all the place and do such many things…"

"<i>Movies and elections are just not comparable. They enjoyed doing the film and when you are getting paid for what u enjoy thats a bonus.</i>"

why do u think elections is not fun?.....even these kids are paid more than wat they are paid for slumdog.....then wats wrong?

"<i>On the other hand children campaigning under the hot sun just because some party wants to attract voters is not the right way to go.</i>"

campaigning under sun is far better than jumping into a sewage tank and run all the place and do such many things.....it is far better...in elections they campaign may be for just 1 or 2 days....but in a movie they work for 6months to 1 year.....so they are loosing out more time on movies rather than election campaign.....

According to me....If the parents/children have no problem in going for campaign then child right commission should not have any say on the issue.....it is purely their personal issue....

"<i>The Child Rights Commission may have something to say about all this.At a time when they should be going to school its shameful that congress will be using them for their selfish motives.</i>"

If taking children for political campaigning is wrong then even making them act in movies is also wrong....so slumdog itself is wrong....

There have been many films that have been made on slums before Slumdog and much better ones too.Not taking any credit away from the film unit.I personally liked the movie The movie might have won many oscars but congress taking credit for it so absurd..Slums have existed in India for a long time and there have been many governments that have come and gone so congress making such silly remarks is a big mistake on their part.Hope some sense prevails and they concentrate on their manifesto and not on how to rope in celebrities(The kids attended the Oscar ceremony) for their campaigning

"I can’t stop laughing when Congress says that it is because of their good governance that films such as slumdog have been made."

If there are no slums in India, there is no slumdog. So credit should definitely be given to Congress for slumdog.
