.Global warming has been creating worldwide disturbances and evoked anguish reactions from environmentalists. There were many initiatives launched to save our planet. Earth Hour is one such climate change initiative launched by WWF.
Global Earth Hour-2009 event in India was formally launched by the WWF-India with an acoustic music show on March 20, at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The famed rock band Advaita and noted musician Sajid Akbar performed on the occasion to raise awareness against climate change and global warming.
