French toast for FedEx

FRANCE TENNIS FRENCH OPEN

Oh !!A Kiss well worth its while … (photos )

It was a day that Federer had been waiting for over 4 years and finally he conquered the French Open title in his 4th attempt. His opponent this time was Soderling who had eased Federer’s path by upsetting the four time champion at Roland Garros Nadal last Sunday in the fourth round. Considering that Federer had a 9-0 record prior to this match he was the firm favourite but Soderling was not to be taken lightly as Soderling not only shocked Nadal — and the entire tennis world — but also beat No. 10 Nikolay Davydenko, No. 12 Fernando Gonzalez and No. 14 David Ferrer. But it was meant to be Federer’s day and not even a court intruder, gusting winds or rain showers could stop the Swiss from sweeping past Sweden’s Robin Soderling 6-1, 7-6, 6-4 on Sunday to achieve sporting greatness.
